At Rare New Zealand, we stand behind the quality and purity of our Mānuka honey. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to make things right - quickly and simply.

Please keep in mind that we are a locally run beekeeping business. Our small team works hard to meet all deadlines, but because we are also the beekeepers out in the field, we can be very busy at times. Even so, we always do our best to look after our customers and provide exceptional service.

  • If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or you are unhappy for any reason, we warmly invite you to contact us so we can arrange a return or replacement.

    We happily accept returns for both:

    • Defective products, and

    • Non-defective products (if you are simply not satisfied)

    We accept items that are:

    • New, or

    • Slightly used

    Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • We offer an easy, no-questions-asked returns process.
    If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re happy to return or replace your item.

  • To ensure a smooth process:

    • The item should be returned with its original packaging where possible.

    • Please contact us before sending your product back so we can assist with next steps.

  • Returns are completed by mail.

    Return Label

    Customers may download and print their own return label.
    Please note that return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

    Restocking Fees

    There are no restocking fees - ever. We want your experience to be smooth and stress-free.

  • Once we receive and check your returned item, we will begin processing your refund.

    Refund Processing Time

    Refunds are usually completed within 14 days and will be returned to your original payment method.

  • If you prefer a replacement, we will send out a new item once your request has been approved.

  • If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as expected, please contact us right away.
    We will resolve the issue promptly and kindly with a refund or replacement.
